Cramming the major primordial gods into one overview image was a tall order, so I had to limit the number of figures so the image wouldn't be too busy and overly fussy with details. With the composition I chose to break the image up into five major parts, broadly hinting at those gods and titans to come later in the chapter. I attempted to create sweeping shapes that would help move your eye around the image, and I chose a pretty wild and magical color palette to emphasize the grandeur and wonder of these primordial births.

Listen O’ Muses, as I, Hesiod, delve into the birth of the primordial deities and their illustrious Titan and Olympian offspring, as sung in my epic, Theogony. While guiding you through this broad overview, I shall focus on the major celestial beings, leaving aside many minor deities. For those curious scholars, I direct them to my poems for a deeper well of discovery. Before immersing ourselves, let us take a short overview of this chapter series.
