After reading the passages from Hesiod regarding the battle, the language focused on this primordial and cataclysmic conflict, which echoed the tectonic shifting and chaotic weather of the earth's formation. While some artists might have portrayed comic book style hand-to-hand combat between Gods and Titans, I chose to emphasize the symbolism of natural elements like the lightning bolt, the erupting volcano, and the heaving seas.
