I felt that playing with the scale of Herakles would be a nice contrast, and it would allow me to fit all twelve labors into the image as well. I think his giant scale nicely communicates his ability to tackle these labors as he's clearly up to the task. If you watch my linework process video you can see I struggled with finding the right pose, but I think it turned out well in the end. This is also a good example of silhouettes and shapes reading on top of one another with clearly defined values, which is always a priority for me. For example, Heracles is a darker value on a lighter background, and his labors might be lighter or darker than a more neutral value background.
